LIE Closure Planned During Thanksgiving Week In Suffolk: Here's When, Where

Scheduled roadwork could delay Long Island drivers during the week of Thanksgiving.

In the Town of Huntington, crews will conduct overnight closures at the interchange of the Long Island Expressway and State Route 110 (Broad Hollow Road) on the night of Tuesday, Nov. 26.

The center and right lanes on northbound State Route 110 will be closed at the bridge over the LIE from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.

During that same period, the exit 49N ramp from the eastbound LIE to northbound SR110 will also be closed.

The closures will allow crews to conduct bridge maintenance.
